Mechanical methods of flow-diverting agents during acid treatment

چکیده

An effective diversion technique is a crucial component in all acid stimulation jobs, which allows us to achieve full zonal coverage and thereby the treatment objectives. In process of acidizing heterogeneous formations, it necessary change direction fluid target interval, i.e., interval with low permeability, ensure an even distribution pumped fluids throughout formation. This because due different permeability layers, highly permeable wormholes can be treated acid, remain untreated. The article describes technological features methods flow-diverting agents (diversion methods) used flow prevent this problem, i.e. optimal placement. article, one mechanical agents, Coil tubing technology, considered its effectiveness determined by conducting quantitative experimental studies.

Posterior Inferior Cerebellar Artery Patency after Flow-Diverting Stent Treatment.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE The rate of PICA occlusion after flow-diverting stent placement for vertebral and vertebrobasilar artery aneurysms is not known. The purpose of this study is to determine the medium-term rate of PICA patency and risk factors for occlusion after such aneurysm treatment. MATERIALS AND METHODS Patients were identified who had vertebral or vertebrobasilar artery aneurysms a...

Aneurysm rupture following treatment with flow-diverting stents: computational hemodynamics analysis of treatment.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Flow-diverting approaches to intracranial aneurysm treatment had many promising early results, but recent apparently successful treatments have been complicated by later aneurysm hemorrhage. We analyzed 7 cases of aneurysms treated with flow diversion to explore the possible rupture mechanisms. MATERIALS AND METHODS CFD analysis of pre- and posttreatment conditions was ...

Very late thrombosis of flow-diverting constructs after the treatment of large fusiform posterior circulation aneurysms.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE The PED is a new endoluminal construct designed to exclude aneurysms from the parent cerebrovasculature. We report the very late (>1 year) thrombosis of PED constructs in 2 patients. RESULTS Two patients with very large fusiform basilar trunk aneurysms underwent parent artery reconstruction with the PED. Both patients were maintained on dual antiplatelet therapy through...

Treatment of iatrogenic V2 segment vertebral artery pseudoaneurysm using Pipeline flow-diverting stent

BACKGROUND Iatrogenic injury to the vertebral artery is a rare but potential complication of cervical spine surgery. Previous authors have commented on the use of flow-diverting stents for treatment of aneurysms of the V3 segment of the vertebral artery. CASE DESCRIPTION Here, we report a case in which injury occurred at the V2 segment of the vertebral artery with the development of a pseudoa...

Treatment of intracranial aneurysms using flow-diverting silk stents (BALT): a single centre experience.

The Silk stent (Balt, Montmorency, France) is a retractable device designed to achieve curative reconstruction of the parent artery associated with an intracranial aneurysm. We present our initial experience with the Silk flow-diverting stent in the management and follow-up of 25 patients presenting with intracranial aneurysms.Twenty-five patients (age range, 34-81 years; 24 female) were treate...
